In the racing world of games there are a fair number of franchises like Gran Turismo, Forza, Toca, Ridge racer etc. Many of these cut across motor sports and give a delicate taste of the life of the different drivers. Last year was a massive achievement for Electronic Art’s Fifa Series. After years of trailing Pro Evolution Soccer they finally nailed producing a game that was the better of the two.

The new Nintendo DSi launches this Friday (3rd April 2009) with news that pre-orders are as high as double to that of the Nintendo DS Lite, meaning it’s very likely that the DSi will sell out in the UK.
The console which is launching as we speak in Australia, already launched in Japan, November last year and will launch in the UK and Europe on the 3rd of April, while North America waits until April 5th. (more…)
