Modern Warfare 2 DLC explodes onto Xbox next week!

If you haven’t yet traded up to Modern Warfare 2 now is the time, with the much anticipated downloadable content preparing to kick all kinds of butt next Tuesday 30th March.

Initially available only on Xbox 360, the 5 new maps (called the ‘Stimulus’ package) will also roll-out to PS3 and PC shortly after.

The new map pack is likely to be the first of several for Infinity Ward’s best-selling epic. This time around we have the delights of 3 new maps and 2 much-loved classics from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare to add into the mix.

• Bailout is set in an apartment complex over varying levels
• Storm is an industrial park littered with machines and equipment
• Salvage is an old snowbound car scrapyard
• Crash and Overgrown finish off the pack and make a welcome, upgraded reappearance.

Whilst some have bemoaned the so-so single player story, it’s the multiplayer campaign where this game comes to life. So new maps are always welcome from our perspective.

Still time to order Modern Warfare 2 and some bargains to be had from the retailers. Lets do this marines!
