Pre-order: L.A. Noire

L.A. Noire has a new trailer giving us a good look at the dark side of the west coast.

Away from the modern Grand Theft Auto escapades and the wild west tales, we are now in for a dark detective drama. Can Take Two hit a third time?

In a far more cerebral looking title, L.A. Noire takes us through the life of a Los Angeles detective tackling crime in 1947. The suggestion that the game will avoid the usual cop-out when it comes to crime solving games where analysing evidence becomes a basic mini-game puzzle, and it could have multiple ways to solve a crime, depending on what kind of cop you want to be!

Don’t worry if you’re after action though as it looks like Rockstar isn’t going to forego their tried and tested shoot-out drama. With plenty of guns, cars, fistfights and interrogations, we can be sure this game will have enough criminal scum beatings to keep the tension high.

L.A. Noire is Coming in May and is a top title for this year.
