Pre Order Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games

The legendary duo return again in this follow up to their initial Olympic outing. Will it be a Princess Peach, or could Nintendo fail to innovate?

All those years ago, the rivalry between Sega and Nintendo threw gameplay, graphics and great storytelling at the consumer in their struggle to stay ahead of the other. This makes the combination of these heroes so special for those who remember that golden age of gaming.

Expectations were high for Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and some might say it fell short of a world record. While a large number of gamers bought into the title, the reviews were not kind to it blaming a steep learning curve and lack of polish.

In this outing there is a greater emphasis on multiplayer modes (both co operative and competitive), as well as new events throughout the year and the ability to use the Balance Board on the Wii to spice up some of the events.

Planned for a 16th October release on both Wii and DS systems, this is a definite title for the Christmas crowd.
