Pre Order Super Mario Galaxy 2

Mario returns in the sequel to the successful Super Mario Galaxy, a continuation of Mario’s adventures in 3D.

The game has already been released in Japan and North America. Europe is next with a June 11th release date.

We have already seen with the release in Japan and North America, that the game is getting phenomenal reviews.

Scanning reviews show the game is receiving many perfect 10 out of 10 scores then followed by a rush of near perfect reviews (9.7 out of 10, 37 out of 40 etc…). These scores are confirmed via Metacritic (the reviews aggregator) listing the game with a 98 meta score.

In essence the game follows the original but minor tweaks and improvements mean this game is as fresh as Super Mario Galaxy was two years ago when it first appeared on the Wii.

So with all the talk on the last week of Red Dead Redemption being the “Game of the year” it seems Rockstar have a serious threat to this title, in the shape of a slightly overweight Italian plumber.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 has a release date of 11th June 2010.
