PS3 Price drop begins
It appears in advance of the rumoured Sony PS3 Slim announcement tomorrow (18th August), prices have already started dropping on the current Playstation 3 console.
MCV reports that Asda is the first retailer to put in place a price drop for the Playstation 3, further adding fire to the rumours of the PS3 Slim being announced.
The retailer is said to be offering a “limited promotion” on 80GB Playstation 3 machines, coming bundled with two games for only £250. Tomorrow we’ll finally know if the rumour is true when Sony make their big announcement at Gamescom.
Update: You can now pre order the PS3 Slim.
