Uncharted 2 leads Bafta nominations

Uncharted 2 leads this year’s nominations for the UK Bafta video game awards which take place this evening.

Uncharted 2 has 10 nominations and even though Modern Warfare 2 managed to be the best selling game of 2009 (and all time) it sits with 9 nominations.

Checking our popular video games page and selecting “year” view, shows Uncharted 2 sits above even Modern Warfare 2, though Uncharted 2 was released a full month earlier.

You can watch the awards live via Bafta’s website at 8:45pm this evening. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top in the best game category as 2009 was witness to some great games.
