Wii Console price cut in the UK

The Wii Console is to get a price cut and will also include a lot more for your money.

The new Wii console pack is expected to retail at £179.99 along with Wii Sports and includes Wii Motion Plus AND a copy of Wii Sports Resort.

So the price cut is nothing major, after the wholesale price rise earlier in the year but the inclusion of Wii Motion Plus and Wii Sports Resort makes it a good value purchase in the run up to Christmas.

It’s also good that the console sets the base with Wii Motion Plus, so all new Wii owners will be able to use Motion Plus enabled games, which offers more precise motion control.

The new Wii Console pack should be available 2nd October 2009.
