Xbox 360 price cut

As expected, Microsoft have thrown down the gauntlet for Sony to pick up, cutting the price of their flagship console to a mere £199.99 RRP

…however a price rise in the remaining product line-up throws a confusing spanner!

Most of us knew it was coming, the Xbox 360 Elite needed to have it’s price trimmed to stay competitive given the recent announcement from Sony and that is exactly what we got, a nice drop of the RRP by £30.

Some had predicted the demise of the “Pro” series of Xbox consoles, seems a smart move as cheaper Elites will satisfy those after a hard disk and a simpler product line usually saves manufacturing costs.

But the price rise on the Arcade model was from way out field, how can “currency fluctuations” only affect the Arcade model and still cut price on the Elite!?

Our advice, get in quick to buy up the cheap Arcade stock, and keep an eye on Game Crawler for the best Xbox 360 console prices!
